You are coming to VILLAS Pico Bonito, address Km 7.5 km Carretera de Yaruca, on the River Cangrejal, between Los Lobos and Jungle River.

We are NOT the Lodge at Pico Bonito. Make this distinction with any driver you may have to give directions to. (See directions to Villas Pico Bonito for more information)
Make sure the driver when leaving from the airport or from Hedman Alas, makes a right turn once you hit the highway. If they turn left they are taking you to some other place with the name Pico Bonito in it and probably to the Lodge. This is an expensive mistake as they will be expecting pay for a very long trip, there and then back to Villas Pico Bonito.
To give you an idea of the costs of transportation from various points here is a list of fares. We can arrange transportation, just let us know. You can hire a Taxi for up to 4 people. Negotiate rates with Taxistas. All over that number will require an additional vehicle and the same quoted rates apply.

Ferry $30.00 25 minutes. Hedman Alas Bus station $25 20 minutes. Airport $40 45 minutes
San Pedro Sula, the Hedman Alas bus is the least expensive way to get to La Ceiba, it depends on whether or not your flight arrives before 1 pm in order to make the connection. Check their web site for schedule.
Other options, rent a van, $150, up to 4 people. 5 and up to 9, $175 trip time 2.5 to 3 hours. Renting a van brings you directly to the lodge if you want. Flying in or coming by bus requires an extra taxi trip to the resort from La Ceiba based on rates above. You may want to fly for approximately $65 per person. SOSA leaves at 2.30 pm and Taca Regional at 4.00 pm. Lanhsa has now started flying the route too. Check web sites for additional information.
Shopping on the way to resort, please add $20 per hour for shopping.
If we are going down to Ceiba for shopping, 2 or 3 persons can travel with us while in the resort, one way $15 (5 day stay free). Taxi back around $25. Or wait for us to return and ride back no charge.
